The Board of Directors is pleased to announce this year’s recipients: Chuck Cissel, Alicia Latimer, Rufus & Demalda Newsome, Carol Lambert, Habitat for Humanity, and Technical Institute of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences.

Returning to Tulsa as our special guest and entertainer for the evening will be Platinum Recording Artist Oleta Adams. ," Adams is no stranger to the Tulsa community and is recognized nationally for her musical accomplishments," stated Marcene Mackey, President of the Heritage Foundation. One of her most memorable accomplishments is her composing and performing “The Waiting Child” theme song.

The North Tulsa Heritage Foundation, a non-profit 501c(3) charitable organization, was established in 1981 by the Business and Industrial Development Corporation. We maintain The Mabel B. Little Heritage House Museum, preserved from the 1921 Race Riot and once owned by the Prince-Mackey family.

The mission of The North Tulsa Heritage Foundation is to promote and preserve African American interests through education, culture, and civic events in Tulsa by honoring our past and embracing our future.
